The wheelchair has an array of features to make it one of the most practical, comfortable and reliable occasional use wheelchairs available. The attendant handbrake is an extremely useful feature in conjuction with the main lockable brakes near the rear wheels. The attendant handbrake allows control of the wheelchair, especially in areas with slopes or inclines. Then when the wheelchair is stationary the main brakes can be applied to insure safety.
