The new Travelite wheelchair is ideal for users who require a unique compact, practical and convenient wheelchair for occasional use. The unique fold down mechanism of the Travelite allows it to be stored in a smaller car boot that may not be a suitable size to store a conventional folding wheelchair. This also allows the Travelite to be stored discreetly in a car without having to remove the car boot shelf in hatchback cars.
The folding down method is very easy and is achieved by flipping back the armrests, folding down the backrest then finally pulling on the straps on the seat, pulling the wheelchair inwards, the hardest part is fitting the wheelchair back into the storage bag!
Designed for use in indoor and limited outdoor situations, the Travelite is ideal for transit use to and from a car, hospitals, airports, using in shopping centres or retail locations and over short distance flat terrain.
The Travelite weighs only 9.3kg and comes with a storage bag for easy transportation.
